Dallas Mavericks CEO Cynt Marshall visits UNT at Frisco
“How to play the game of life.”

FRISCO, Texas (March 8th, 2023)- Highschool basketball players from the Frisco area join Dallas Mavericks CEO and author Cynt Marshall at the University of North Texas at Frisco Landing. In conjunction with the Communities Foundation of Texas, Marshall will talk navigating the game of life and the importance of giving back to the community. From there she will open the floor to chat with the guests who will all be entered into a raffle for a chance to win tickets to a Mavericks home game.

“I am excited to be able to come and speak to these students,” said Dallas Mavericks CEO Cynt Marshall. “Working with the Communities Foundation of Texas gives us an opportunity to be an inspiration to all the young athletes attending.”
​
Doors open at 5:15 p.m. and students will be offered a full tour of the Frisco campus. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. with an opening number by the UNT dancers introduced by the sports anchor Joe Trahan.

“I am hoping that these students take away something valuable,” says CFT Marketing Director Nicole Paquette. “Having them here will not only engage but immerse them more into the importance of giving and its overall impact.”

Who: The communities Foundation of Texas in conjunction with UNT at Frisco Landing host the #FriscoMavericks
What: The #FrisoMavericks event offers a chance for high school basketball players to engage with the Dallas Mavericks CEO Cynt Marshall as she talks navigating the game of life and the importance of giving back to the community.
When: #FriscoMavericks will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday March 17th, 2023
Where: #FriscoMavericks will be held at the new UNT At Frisco Landing campus. The campus is located at 12995 Preston Rd, Frisco, TX 75033.
